An island is often at an advantage when it comes to breath-taking scenary. And Sri Lanka certainly isn't lacking.

From its famed copper-coloured beaches to lush green jungles, sparse scrublands and cloud-topped mountains the range is amazing.

And what's more amazing is that you can get from the coastal areas right up into the cool hill country in just 3-4 hours .
